Key Highlights of the New Rules

Received shared files no longer count against your base storage space.
Previously, shared files occupied your storage space, but not anymore! Under the new calculation rules:
• Your base storage remains unaffected by shared files.
For example: If you’re a VIP member with 2TB of storage and have used 1TB (50% remaining), receiving 8TB of shared files will not affect your available space. You’ll still have 1TB left, and your total usable storage becomes 10TB.
Under the old rules, your space would have been exceeded in this scenario.
• Members can now accept shared files without worrying about storage limits.

Free Members’ Plan Remains Unchanged

The 1TB base storage for free members remains the same, with no changes to the plan.

Platform Updates

The new storage calculation rules are being gradually rolled out across the web, iOS, and Android platforms. Even if you haven’t updated to the latest version, the new rules are already in effect for older versions, though detailed explanations may not appear in the interface.
